KICKSTART is for the athlete who is just starting out playing soccer.  Here they will learn proper technique and fundamentals necessary to succeed on the pitch (field).  Our hope is that our KICKSTART students progress to our Advanced Player Development Academy, then to our Academy teams and finally a FC Galaxy club team. Training sessions are age appropriate and progressive.  
Our training consists of:
Warm Up
Speed and Agility
Moves and Ball Handling (Passing, Trapping, Heading etc..)
Group Play / Small Sided Games
Homework - Players will be required to practice at home what they have been taught at the training sessions .  They will be asked to keep a log of their practice time. Certain aspects of our training will be video taped and placed online to access for online instruction.  This will aid our players at their home practice. Modifications will be made to training sessions to fit the needs of our players.  Some players might receive more one on one coaching depending on the need.

Ages: 5-7 (with exceptions).

Duration: 24 one hour sessions (2 per week)  12 consecutive sessions with a 1 week break.

Group Size: Coaching player ratio of no more than 1:10.  Players will be grouped according to age and (or) skill level.

When:  August 20 - November 16.  Sessions are Sundays at 3:30 Thursdays 5:00

Cost: $300.00 per set of 24 sessions ($12.50 per session)

A training kit that consists of shorts, shirt at white socks must be worn to all sessions.  The Nike shirts and shorts will need to be purchased from FC Galaxy for $45.00 per set.
